Xinjiang promulgated new regulations, since January 2010, the AIDS orphaned children living with HIV or AIDS each child will receive a monthly 600 yuan subsidy to improve the face of children affected by AIDS, poverty, lack of education, lack of medical care and social discrimination.
From the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of Civil Affairs, Health Department, Human Resources and Social Security Department issued jointly developed the “Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of children affected by AIDS Relief placement Interim Measures,” which stipulated, for children orphaned by AIDS, with HIV or children affected by AIDS , as well as one of the parents infected with AIDS or AIDS-related deaths of children due to be paid the minimum parenting standards of 600 yuan per person per month for the basic living security payments.

AIDS-affected children in the object divided into three types, namely, the death of both parents suffering from AIDS, minors under 18 years of age, that children orphaned by AIDS; with HIV or HIV-infected children; a parent infected with AIDS or AIDS - death of children.
